PRESENTATION
The Amazon nut is known for its richness in natural proteins, unsaturated fatty acids and its high content of selenium, zinc, copper, magnesium, fibres and minerals useful for metabolism. It is a complete vegetable source of nutrition and energy. DUMATO WILD offers two categories of Amazon nut: the one from the Apurinã indigenous land and the one from the state of Amazonas.
The Amazon nut comes from a tree that grows 40 to 50 metres high. It takes at least two years between flowering and the mature nuts falling, which occurs in December/January. The nuts are packed in a large shell that weighs over a kilo. Another small shell must be cracked to extract the nut.
Minimum order: 20 kg.
As well as being highly nutritious, Brazil nuts are rich in antioxidants, especially selenium. It can also help improve intestinal transit and replenish the body's energy supply.
